Position:  Production Assistant (PA) for TV3 Denmark

Job Outline

The PA’s role is to ensure created promotional material reach the on air date in time for deadline with the correct quality controlled information on screen and in voice. The PA’s main focus is to ensure correct information from schedules and information from the contacts in the territories are included on the promotional material and to ensure on air delivery for TV3 Denmark.

There is a close working relationship with the on air managers in the countries/territories as well as scheduling and transmission at
the broadcast facilities.

Co-ordination and organizational skills of multiple tasks to do with promotional material is crucial.

Reporting Structure
The PA:s reports to the Creative Director.

Roles and Responsibilities of the PA:

• Weekly carting sessions preparing material for on air in linear suite with editor/or independently on Final Cut Pro
• Translation of promotional scripts prior to voice-over sessions.
• Coaching of voice-over artist(s) in voice-over sessions in audio suite with audio engineer.
• Liaising closely with on air contacts in countries/territories to ensure optimal quality and delivery.
• Call for regular PPL meetings.
• Liaising closely with scheduling to ensure on air dates are met with correct versions.
• Quality control.
• Delivery of promotional material for ingesting.
• Music reporting.
• Implementation of seasonal looks in liaising with Creative Director
• Production of breakflow material
• Dubbing material/tapes
• Shipping materials
• Reporting
• Ingest/QC continuity maccart material and provide TX/scheduling with correct lists

Skills

- TV background is a plus, but not a requirement
- Final Cut Pro experience is a plus, but not a requirement
